A859 Leverburgh, Isle of Harris (30mph speed limit) Order 2008

The Comhairle intends to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the A859 Stornoway - Rodel Road, at Leverburgh, Isle of Harris.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving or causing or permitting to be driven, any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph, on that road known as the A859 Stornoway to Rodel Road through the village of Leverburgh, Isle of Harris from the bridge at the North end of Dunmore Crescent, Leverburgh, to its junction with Ferry Road, along Ferry Road and the new Ferry Road in a loop to join at the Ferry Terminal, an overall length of 3km or thereby.
