The aim of the PSYBT is to provide seed-corn finance and professional support to young people aged 18-25 (30 in the Western Isles), whoever they are and wherever they come from, so that they can start up and continue in business.  The Trust has particular concern for the disadvantaged.

  • Discretionary Grants of £1000 and up to £3000 for groups
  • Start-up Loans up to £5000 (4% interest)
  • Expansion Loans up to £5000 (4% interest)
  • Growth Fund Development Loans up to £10,000 and Accelerator Loans up to £25,000
  • Market Test Grants of up to £250

• If you are aged between 18 and 30;
• If you have a business idea that has a reasonable chance of success;
• If you are trading and you need help to enable you to expand your business;
• If you have been unable to find all or part of the required funding for your business from other financial sources
