Lottery Programmes: Western Isles Community Consultation

You may be aware that Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar in its External Funding Strategy of 30 October 2001 sought to initiate a Lottery Programmes consultation with the Voluntary Sector in the Western Isles, with a view to developing a dedicated Western Isles Lottery Strategy which would enable community groups to more successfully access Lottery funds. I now enclose that consultation document and questionnaire.

Your views are sought on the consultation and I should also be grateful if you would circulate a copy of the document to other community groups and interested parties within your community who may wish to forward their comments. Responses should be made via the enclosed questionnaire on or before 30 June 2002 to Angus Murray, External Funding Officer, Department for Sustainable Communities.
