Information Not Included In The Publication Scheme

This publication scheme lists information which the Council intends to make available routinely; the right of a member of the public to request any other information from the Council is not limited. Other requests for information should be made to:-

From 1 January 2005, the 2002 Act gives members of the public the right to see any information held by the Comhairle, subject to certain exemptions and conditions. The Act is fully retrospective, and information dating from before 1 January 2005 is therefore open for public inspection and access. Proposals to process these requests will be considered prior to full implementation of the Act.

Until 1 January 2005, the Comhairle will make every effort to answer requests for information under existing procedures.
