The Chief Executive of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) Jacqui Watt was in Stornoway on the 1 November 2007 on a fact finding visit.

During her stay she gave a presentations to HHP’s Board on the services SFHA will be providing in the future.

Ms Watt also had meetings with Comhairle Officials and HHP’s Chief Executive Angus Lamont.

Before returning to Glasgow Ms Watt expressed her gratitude for the welcome she had received and felt that her visit had been very worthwhile in learning about the housing issues current in the Western Isles. As a native Shetlander she saw many similarities between the Western Isles and the Shetlands.

On behalf of HHP George Lonie (Chairman) thanked Jacqui Watt for taking the time to come and meet with the Board.
