LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005
Under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 the Western Isles Licensing Board is allowed to advertise applications for premises licences on a website rather than in a newspaper. Advertisements for premises licence applications will appear on this page.
The advert will show ongoing applications and if you wish to comment on an application then please note carefully the last date for objections or representations and ensure that it has not passed. It is the responsibility of the person making the objections or representation to ensure that the Board has received it and it may be helpful to lodge it in one of the following ways:
Delivered by hand within the time specified;
Post (by registered or recorded or special delivery post); or
Faxed within that time and an acknowledgement of the fax is kept.
A pro-forma form (preferred) for making objections or representations is available from the Licensing Office, Chief Executive’s Department, Council Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, HS1 2BW; telephone 01851 709211.
