The Depute Director of Administration chaired the Meeting and called for nominations for Chairman of the Sub-Committee.

It was agreed to appoint Mr Donald I Nicholson as Chairman of the Sub-Committee.

The Minute of Meeting of 5 November 1996 was approved.

It was agreed that, in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 23(a), the press and public be excluded from the Meeting during consideration of the following item on the grounds that exempt information relating to applicants to become an office holder of the Council would be disclosed.
