The minute of meeting of 21 February 2001 was approved. |
It was agreed that, in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item on the grounds defined in Standing Order 26(a), namely, information relating to a particular employee, former employee or applicant to become an employee of, or particular office holder or former office holder, or applicant to become an office holder under the Comhairle. | ||

The Acting Director of Education and Leisure Services submitted a report concerning an application for early release of pension from employee MMD. The background to the matter was outlined in the report. It was agreed to recommend that employee MMD be granted early release of pension on the basis of the benefits detailed in the report. |

The Acting Director of Education and Leisure Services submitted appeals for school transport received from parents of pupils for whom free transport had been refused on the grounds that the cases fell outwith the current policy on school transport. |
