		DEVELOPMENT CONTROL
Large Wind Farm Applications:  Presentations	2	With reference to item 2 of the Minute of Meeting of 23 May 2005 the Head of Development Services submitted a Report concerning large Wind Farm applications and set out the arrangements for presentations on the Wind Farm application submitted under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 by Lewis Wind Power Ltd and Beinn Mhor Power.
		Kinloch Community Council The Chairman invited Mr Iain Macleod and Mr Donald J Maclennan, Kinloch Community Council, to address the Committee on the Wind Farm application submitted by Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Maclennan and Mr Macleod. The Chairman thanked Mr Macleod and Mr Maclennan for their presentation.
		Pairc Community Council The Chairman invited Mr Roddy Mackenzie, Mr D A Macleod and Mr R MacRitchie, Pairc Community Council to address the Committee on the Wind Farm application submitted by Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Mackenzie, Mr Macleod and Mr MacRitchie. The Chairman thanked Mr Mackenzie, Mr Macleod and Mr MacRitchie for their presentation.
		North Harris Community Council The Chairman invited Mr N Macleod, Mr D Burns and Mr K Mackay, North Harris Community Council to address the Committee on the Wind Farm application submitted by Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Macleod, Mr Burns and Mr Mackay. The Chairman thanked Mr Macleod, Mr Burns and Mr Mackay for their presentation.
		Eishken Estate The Chairman invited Mr J N Oppenheim and Ms P Smith, Eishken  to address the Committee on the Wind Farm application submitted by Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Oppenheim and Ms Smith. The Chairman thanked Mr Oppenheim and Ms Smith for their presentation.
		Muaitheabhal Community Windfarm Trust The Chairman invited Mr Donald M Mackay, Mr Iain Maciver and Mr Angus McDowell, Muaitheabhal Community Windfarm Trust  to address the Committee on the Wind Farm application submitted by Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Mackay, Mr Maciver and Mr McDowell. The Chairman thanked Mr Mackay, Mr Maciver and Mr McDowell for their presentation.
		Regional Archaeologist and Historic Scotland The Chairman invited Dr Mary Macleod, Regional Archaeologist and Mr Rod McCullagh, Historic Scotland to address the Committee on the Wind Farm applications submitted by Lewis Wind Power Ltd and Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Dr Macleod and Mr McCullagh. The Chairman thanked Dr Macleod and Mr McCullagh for their presentation.
		Royal Society for the Protection of Birds The Chairman invited Ms Anne McCall and Mr Martin Scott, Royal Society for the McCall Protection of Birds to address the Committee on the Wind Farm applications submitted by Lewis Wind Power Ltd and Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Ms McCall and Mr Scott. The Chairman thanked Ms McCall and Mr Scott for their presentation.
		Scottish Natural Heritage The Chairman invited Mr David Maclennan, Scottish Natural Heritage to address the Committee on the Wind Farm applications submitted by Lewis Wind Power Ltd and Beinn Mhor Power. An opportunity was afforded to Members to ask questions of Mr Maclennan. The Chairman thanked Mr Maclennan for his presentation.
