		CONSTITUTION
Election of Chairman	1	The Chief Executive chaired the meeting and called for nominations for Chair of the Committee. Mrs Morag Munro, seconded by Mr Alex A MacDonald, moved the appointment of Mr Donald Manford. There being no further nominations the Head of the Executive Office declared that Mr Donald Manford had been duly elected as Chair of the Transportation Committee.
Appointment of Vice-Chairman	2	The Chairman called for nominations for Vice-Chair of the Committee. Mr Peter Carlin, seconded by Mr Martin Taylor, moved the appointment of Mr Donald John Macsween. Mr Neil Campbell, seconded by Mr Murdo Macleod, moved the appointment of Mr John Mackay. There being no further nominations the Committee the proceeded to vote by ballot, the result of which was as follows: Mr Donald John Macsween 9 Mr John Mackay 7 The Chairman declared that Mr Donald John Macsween had been duly elected as Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee.
