Technical evaluation of the final PSDP Tenders has been concluded and financial evaluation is expected to be concluded week beginning 11th June so that a final evaluation report may be presented to the Chief Executive/Comhairle by the end of the month.
An information day for prospective bidders for the role of design team took place in Glasgow on 23rd of May. This event was well attended and a substantial interest in this element of the project has been shown by the marketplace. Reponses from interested parties are required by 25th June.
The project team awaits confirmation of what, if any, impact the new Administration in Edinburgh will have on the project.
A further meeting with head teachers took place on 5th June where they were updated on the progress of the project and discussions on an outline programme for forthcoming visits to mainland schools took place.
