The response deadline is fast approaching for two local food & drink surveys recently distributed by the Outer Hebrides Branding Project team. Both surveys close on 30th April.
One survey was targeted at local food and drink producers, to find out what their aspirations are for the branding project; the other to hotels, guest-houses, restaurants, cafes and commercial kitchens throughout the islands, to find out what they think about Outer Hebrides produce and to provide clues as to what is already highly regarded and what needs further development. The Outer Hebrides Branding Project aims to have early designs for the brand device delivered by August 2007.
Vice-chairman of the Outer Hebrides Branding Project Steering Group, David Kinnaird said:
"These surveys are vitally important to the success of the branding project. If you have been emailed one or sent one, we urge you to respond by the deadline of 30th April. It's your chance to influence what the branding project will do for you. All responses are completely confidential and will be aggregated so that no individual can be identified by our consultants Marketing Principals International."
As with all successful branding projects, the steering group in the Outer Hebrides wants to be absolutely clear about what they are seeking to achieve, in tangible economic terms. Local businesses who have already been contacted can play a vital role in that process by returning their completed surveys by the end of April.
