Algal Toxins At Loch Leurbost and Loch Erisort 7 June 2007

There are raised levels of algal toxins occurring in Loch Leurbost and Loch Erisort at present and eating shellfish such as mussels, scallops, or cockles from these lochs may pose a risk to human health.

It is a sensible precaution to avoid eating shellfish from these lochs until further notice.
