The Scottish Executive has issued a General Licence that allows stock from the islands to be moved to a single premises on the mainland.

Any stockholder wishing to move stock to the mainland will have to ensure that the movement is direct to the final destination and that all stringent biosecurity and disinfection requirements are undertaken. A consignment note will also be required for cattle being moved under this licence.
