PEOPLE with a disability will be told how to become involved in the provision of care and services in the Western Isles, at a meeting to be held this month.
A Disability Equality Working Group Meeting will be held in Stornoway in partnership with NHS Western Isles, Western Isles Council and Lews Castle College.
Chaplain and Operational Diversity Lead at NHS Western Isles TK Shadakshari stated: “The purpose of this meeting will be to enable people with disability to be involved in the provision of care and services provided by three public authorities above mentioned.
“This is an opportunity for people with disability to make a difference in the service provision in the Western Isles.”
The meeting will be held on November 19th from 10am until 1pm in Lews Castle College, Stornoway, and all are welcome to attend.
