Brian Wilson MP, Minister for Industry & Energy, will formally launch Comhairle nan Eilean Siar's new Business Development Services on Monday 18th February at the Lanntair Gallery, Stornoway.

The project, which is jointly-funded by the European Community, through the Highlands & Islands Special Transitional Programme (HISTP) has been named "Business Advantage".
The Business Advantage service will provide a comprehensive range of advice, support, and financial assistance packages to new business projects throughout the Western Isles. This is in addition, and complementary to assistance already available through other public-sector agencies and the private sector, in partnership with the Comhairle.

The Business Advantage team will be located at "Old Pointers" in the Town Hall from March onwards.
