Slaughtering Service Contract Awarded

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has agreed to offer a contract to RG Meats (Wholesale) Ltd. for the provision of a ‘kill and return’ service at the Stornoway Abattoir.

Acceptance of the contract will mean the service runs for a four month period from mid-August to mid-December.

The Comhairle would lease the abattoir to the operating company for the period of the contract.
