Sandwick Hill Playgroup Visit

The Waste
aware Team made a visit to Sandwickhill Playgroup today
as the school visits campaign started. Sandwickhill
Playgroup are also introducing their own recycling scheme.
They will have a green bin to deposit plastics, cans
and glass and a red bin to deposit paper. Once the bins
are full then the children will help to take them to
the local recycling point that is planned for Sandwickhill
School.
The playgroup also had a chance to
learn some detail about recycling. With colouring activities,
the recycling lorry and other materials available The
children had a very busy afternoon.
Sandwickhill Playgroup are the first
pre-school group to have their own recycling scheme
and the first to have an activity visit from the Waste
aware Team.
