Character Competition For Schools

The Waste
Aware Western Isles Team have launched a competition
for all schools in the Western Isles. The competition
is to help develop a character for use in promotional
and publicity in raising awareness of the Reduce Reuse
Recycle message.
The competition will run from now
until 24th February. Entrants are required to provide
a front and side elevation drawing of the character
that they design. And, of course, the character must
be composed entirely of recyclable material. That includes
bottles, cans papers etc.
The winning pupil will receive a prize
of £50 in gift vouchers and the school of the
winner will receive a further £250 in vouchers.
