Tong School recently held a competition as part of their Eco-Schools programme. Each pupil had to make their own Eco-Code and the winning code, won by Calum Macrae and Peter Macdonald. Primary 5, is shown below.

Eco Code

Litter, Litter can’t be found, playgrounds are tidy all around.
Compost food makes plants grow good. Walk or cycle you know you should.
Fruit and veg taste really yummy, good healthy food fills up your tummy.
Try to recycle, you know you should. Save the world, you know you could.
Be waste aware, it’s been reported. Come on, let’s get it sorted.
We love being an eco-school, because being green is really cool!
