Tong Playgroup

Tong Playgroup wanted to learn a bit more about recycling so they asked the Waste Aware Team for some help!

Sharon popped along to see the children and was pleased to see they knew what recycling was and that a lot of them were already doing it at home with their green recycling bins.  Those who didn’t have a green bin were going to ask their mums and dads to get one so they could join in the fun of recycling at home as well as at playgroup!

Everyone enjoyed playing with the recycling lorries and were happy with the new notepads they were given by Sharon.  They even guessed right that the pads were made from recycled tyres. Well Done!!
