Yellow Woods Challenge 2006

Only one week into the Yellow Woods Challenge 2006 and Kirk, the recycling mascot, has been kept busy thanks to Stornoway Primary School. He paid them a visit to encourage all the pupils and teachers to collect as many old Yellow Pages Directories as they can so their school will be in for a chance of winning cash prizes, along with every school in the Western Isles. Not only did he meet all the classes, but he even had time to take part in the BBC Radio nan Gaidheal children’s programme Aileag along with pupils from the Gaelic Medium class. Kirk hopes to return to the Western Isles in June to see how many Yellow Pages each school has collected!
