The Alcohol Councelling Service

If you think that you might have a problem with alcohol - please feel free to contact us. We will talk with you in strictest confidence and support you as much as we can to make any changes YOU may wish to make. We will also contact with you or on your behalf any other organisation or professional service which you may need to access to sort out practical details. We will work at your pace and in accordance with your needs and wishes. We can also direct you to an advocacy service (staffed by volunteers) should you desire this.

Please do not stay alone in a pattern of drinking which makes you unhappy. We are here to help you.

If someone who you are in close relation with (either family or a friend) is abusing alcohol (and/or drugs) and this is causing -you difficulty or concern - we are here for you also.

There are a number of ways that the situation can be improved for you, so please do not despair. Come along and see us and again, we will meet with you in the strictest confidence.

Coping with someone else's alcohol problem can be a lonely and heart-rending experience.

Please do not stay in isolation.
