Technical Services

Introduction

The Technical Services department provides a variety of quality services including built environment and planning, public transport, road management and transport and travel.

We design, construct and maintain Council buildings, piers and roads. We control town centre car parking. We maintain road surface water drainage systems and provide an emergency response service including winter gritting, round the clock, on every day of the year.
