Last Ferry From Eriskay
There were occasional showers in the morning of July 12 but the rain decided not to spoil the event itself. Praise was paid by the many visitors for the buffet laid on in the community centre after the ferry crossings and causeway cavalcade.
Following the last trip on the Eriskay ferry, Convener Alex Macdonald paid tribute to the work of the Eriskay ferrymen over the years.
