Rock armouring to core: in progress - 60 per cent complete.
Total rock placed: 560,000 tonnes - 80 per cent of final quantity.
Uist Quarry: Drilling, blasting & excavating rock 80 per cent complete.
Bridge:
- Preparation for pile-cap construction in progress
- Preparation for southern abutment in progress
- Rock armouring of south abutment in progress
- Precast beam delivery and placing planned for mid February
- Completion of bridge structure planned for mid March

Eriskay Approach Road: No work this week - rock excavation over 90 per cent complete.
Weather: fine all week, with some moderate winds.
Personnel: 52 employed on site (including 2 CnES) - 62 per cent resident in the Western Isles.
