Work on the road sytem and marshalling area for the new ferry port on Eriskay proceeded fast in the week to June as did work on the highers surfaces of the causeway road.

- Road construction 70 per cent complete
- Services installations 90 per cent complete
- Reinstatement works continuing
Weather: wet/windy to fine/sunny
Personnel: 49 in total employed were on the site (including 2 CnES), 57 per cent resident in the Western Isles
Completion programme
- Roads - wearing course to start 25th June
- Causeway construction - including road, white lines & signs - mid July
- Ceann a Gharaidh construction - mid July
- Reinstatement works, including quarry - August
- Local opening event planned for 12th July
