The emphasis of work in the week up to June 30 was strongly environmental with work continuing to reinstate land affected by the Uist quarry and the haul road as well as around other parts of the project area. As the project moves towards completion, the number of people employed on it is starting to fall, dropping below 50 for the first time since last August. Work also continued on the completion of the roadways.
